The Hunt

Stuart’s offers top quality, experienced hunting guides, and will provide you with transportation to and from the lodge (by boat or vehicle). Our guides leave the dock before sunrise and hunt in float blinds (sometimes known as scissor blinds), marsh blinds, fields, and stationary blinds on the sound, a dog to retrieve the ducks—-and stay with you the entire hunt.

Several species of waterfowl hunted include: Bluebills, Widgeon, Canvasbacks, Black ducks, Ruddies, Redheads, Wood ducks, Pintails, Bufflehead, Teal, Mergansers, Mallards, Snow Geese, and Swan. We also have someone available to clean/breast ducks for a small fee.
